Your journey begins at the spectacular Rafter's Village,
nestled in the picturesque hills of Trelawny just 25 miles from Montego Bay and 40 miles from Ocho Rios.
Take a gentle ride on a 30 ft. bamboo raft polled by experienced and licensed captains.
Travel along 3 miles of unspoiled paradise (approx. 1 hr.), to a time when sugar was king and rafts transported
this precious cargo to merchant ships in the harbour.
The embarkation area "Rafters Village" is a 6 acre recreational facility
which included a picnic ground, full service bar, 2 souvenir shops,
swimming pool and modern restrooms.
Guest can also stroll through "Miss Martha's Herb Garden", to learn about Jamaica's famous
medicinal and healing herbs.
